Exhibition Overview
Presented as my doctoral exhibition at the Gallery of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 2025, "Exercises in Tenderness" (Vežbe nežnosti) crowned my doctoral studies in painting under the mentorship of Dr. um. Lidija Delić. The project explores the visual articulation of contemporary love discourse, investigating how emotional intimacy, physical gestures, and bodily movements manifest within visual arts.
Concept & Artistic Expression
Through this body of work, I focused on tenderness not merely as an emotion, but as an active ethical and physical stance - a counter-discourse to contemporary alienation. By integrating theoretical research with expressive painterly practices, the works examine the subtle nuances of human connection, touch, and vulnerability, bridging internal psychological states with bodily presence.
